OUR WHY

We are a team of two dads – 5 kids between the 2 of us ranging from 3 to 15 in age. The original concept of our app came from our CTO who has a son who’s on the autism spectrum. He built the original “timer” function to have the tablet he shared with his son to time itself out for self-regulation. He then put the app up on the Play Store and got downloads which fueled new features and innovation. We met  for the first time 12 years ago, fell in love with the tech, and with a true passion for this as we were living this.

Trust

We’ve done the research. We’re leaders in the space, creating products that deliver wanted functionality for parents—and everything needs to work as promised. Our onboarding is simple and easy to follow. Our customers know exactly what to do and how to contact us if they have any issues. Our customer service is attentive—customer insight helps us improve our product. Although an authority on tech, when we speak to parents, we speak as concerned parents ourselves. We aren’t content just to sell a product. We are uncovering new knowledge and best practices to educate busy parents, all the time. Parents trust us to help them make the digital world a safe place for their kids.

Empower

Inherent to the notion of “control” is a sense of wanting to avoid restrictions. We aren’t about restrictions, we are about empowering children and providing an incentive for them to engage with technology in positive ways. Through this proactive approach to digital citizenship, parents and children will be brought into a safe and productive ecosystem, without fear-mongering or any of the perceived limitations of IT security systems. We provide safe, guided access and our systems are a joy to use.
